Let It Snow!

The time in Colorado went by so fast! We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together!

We were also able to sneak up to snowboard with Susan and Scott.
Thanks again to Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Anita and Uncle Bilal for watching Logan and Claire while we played in the snow!

Claire enjoyed sledding and making snow angels in the less than half inch that fell in the Springs that day.

She also helped Aunt Anita make a birthday cake for Baby Jesus.

In case you were wondering....Claire decided that Baby Jesus would like a doll cake for his birthday. :)

Merry Christmas from Colorado!

It was a very special Christmas here in Colorado! Logan enjoyed his first Christmas with lots of family. His cousin Claire kept him very entertained and loved to help him open his presents from Santa this morning. Logan must have been a very good boy this year because he had so many presents! We enjoyed lots of good food (a yummy teething biscuit for Logan). It was a great day!

New Toys

Logan is enjoying playing with his Christmas gifts already. Grandma and Grandpa Gebhardt bought him this fun toy to crawl on when they visited for Thanksgiving. Logan is all over the house now and we are trying to keep up with him and get all the babyproofing done as he is already trying to climb the stairs.

Just over 7 months!

Just over seven months old and pulling up! Logan has enjoyed time with all of his grandparents over the last several weeks. When Grandma and Grandpa Gebhardt left this morning Logan was sad to be alone with just Mom. While on a call Logan decided he was going to get my attention and he did. He pulled up to standing (using my knees) and started grabbing for the phone. I'll have to add pictures later!

Faster and Faster

Despite being sick with his high fever and rash from Roseola Logan still managed to get up the energy to chase down another favorite item...my shoe.

Funny Daddy

OK here is what we have been up to! I am very behind in my blogging but with all of Logans activity it has been hard to keep up!

Almost there

Logan is moving! Chasing a water bottle that is always just a bit out of reach (click on this link to see the video). Grandma and Grandpa Bowles visited for a few weeks and we all had so much fun!

Trip to Boston

Logan made a trip to Boston and he enjoyed spending time with Aunt Anita and Uncle Bilal. He tried to take a taste of Jackson's tail but the kitties were too fast!

Six Month Check up

Logan had his six month appt and he is now 18 lbs and 28 inches long. The doctor said he is about the size of an average nine month old. :)
Just in time for his 6 month birthday L.J. received a very cute CATS outfit from Uncle Dave! Uncle Derin will be happy to know that at this point Logan can still wear both Griz and Cats gear.

Six Months Old!

It is hard to believe that Logan is six months old! We had a Halloween party with the neighboorhood playgroup. It was so much fun and all the babies were so cute. The Mom's had the most fun dressing up all the kids!

Logan is ready to help in case of a medical emergency!

Thanks for the scrubs Aunt Donna!

Happy Halloween!

We tried on Logan's Halloween costume to make sure we were ready for the fun. Here is a preview....just in time to wish everyone a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Broncos Fan

You can see Logan is not exactly pleased with their performance last week but he is still a fan.

Moving

Logan is on the move! Now his Daddy swears that his frog hop and other modes of transportation should count as crawling. Mommy disagrees because he won't make it any further than about three to four feet from where he starts. Here is the video you decide!

Peek a Boo and Other Fun

Logan loves to laugh and play! His laugh is so cute that I had to get it on camera! The quality is a bit rough but you can hear just how cute he is. I also added some video of him sitting up.

Playgroup and Sitting up

Mommy and Logan love going to playgroup every other Friday! It is a great time to catch up with friends and get the scoop on what is new and what works in the world of babies. We got a group photo and some great pictures of almost all the babies together! We missed you Flo and Sofia.
Logan has been working on sitting up by himself and he was showing off at playgroup today! He sat for several minutes at a time playing and watching the other babies.

Five months old

Now that Logan is five months old he is all about the friends, food and fun!

Logan with his buddy Payson (9 months, Hayden and Madison are not pictured due to Mommy taking too long with the camera.)

Logan says, "I'm not tired just give me some food!"

Four month appt (a bit late)

Logan had his four month appointment today only a few weeks past his four month birthday. He is now 16lbs and 15oz and just over 26 inches long. Everything looks good and Dr. Michaels was impressed with his strengeth after he grabbed her stethoscope and would not let go. He has quite a grip and holds on with both hands so it took the two of us to pull his little fingers loose.

First cereal

Today Logan ate his first meal of rice cereal! He loved it! You can see by the big smile that he enjoyes eating as much as his parents. He was wearing most of the food by the end but he enjoyed the small amount he managed to get in his tummy. He has been watching us eat with envy for at least the last few weeks, and we wanted to wait until after traveling to start him on solids. We fed him and he seemed to say, "finally you are giving me what I was asking for!"
