Fireworks

Logan enjoyed his playing with his first sparklers in Montana. He loved it, although it was not quite as impressive as it was still very bright out and didn't get completely dark until after 10:30. We didn't want a grumpy Logan for all of the holiday activities so we lit them up early so he could get to bed.

Flying High

Logan has been very fascinated with planes lately, probably due in part to all the planes buzzing around the AFA nearby. We had told Logan for many months now that when he was up in Montana he could fly in the plane with Grandpa. It was fun to see that both Logan and Grandpa couldn't wait to get in the air. Logan, always stoic didn't give too much away about how excited he was. Finally, after about five minutes of total silence (up in the air, taking it all in) he starts yelling, "Mommy we are flying!!" He was so excited. As soon as we landed he turned to Grandpa and said, "I want to fly again."
"Ok Logan, we will go flying again," said Grandpa.
"No, now, I want to fly now," exclaimed Logan.
Yes, we all had a great time!! What a great way to start Independence Day!

July 4th Firetrucks and Parades

Roundup Montana is the place to be on the 4th of July. With a concerts, great fireworks, and parades it was a dream week for Logan. Grandpa had all the connections to get Logan onboard the firetrucks with him for both of the parade days. If that was not enough to make the day they also had stocked up on candy to toss to the kids. Let's just say I think Logan didn't let any out of his hands. Kaitlyn loved all the entertainment, music and even the firetruck sirens.
