Easter Egg Hunt at Castle Hills

The grass was covered with eggs near the pond for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Logan did a much better job grabbing the eggs this year (even though a few were empties discarded by other kids already). Last year he found one and sat down to inspect it, so this was a great improvement. It was a beautiful day with lots of kids! Logan had a great time wandering around and LOVED seeing the Easter bunny again this year. He may be scared of Santa but Logan couldn't wait to see the bunny and went back multiple times to give the bunny high fives and ask for more candy.

Playgroup Sprinkle

Mommy's playgroup friends threw her a sprinkle for baby Kaitlyn and we all had such a great time! Thanks again! Kaitlyn will have so many very cute things to wear and we can't wait!

Playing with John

Logan had a great time playing with his cousin John. They were so cute together but way to fast for my camera!

Dallas Blooms

We joined the spring break crowds at the arboretum to enjoy all of the tulips. Logan loved checking out all of the flowers with his playgroup friends. It was an amazing day at the gardens!

Family in Florida

We made a long weekend trip to Florida to meet up with Grandma and Logan's Godparents (Aunt Toni and Uncle Don). It rained for a couple of days but we still managed to have lots of fun at the mall. Logan loved riding around with Grandma on the train. We also made it to the beach and the pool two of the days. We had a great time and Logan was in heaven getting lots of kisses and attention from Tata Toni, Uncle Don and Grandma. Brian and I got some rest with all the help and it was a great weekend!

Farmer

We headed out for dinner in our neighborhood the other night. As we sat and ate, Logan suddenly started pointing at the window and saying something over and over. He is talking up a storm these days and most of the time Brian and I look at each other and ask, "Do you know what he is saying?" Logan is usually not too hard to understand, but we do have many 'I don't know' or 'I give up' moments. He is pretty persistent and often repeats himself over and over until we can figure it out. That night was no exception. Finally after following his finger waving I realized that he was pointing to the man at the table next to us near the window with a huge cowboy hat on. Logan was saying "Farmer, Farmer!" Just like his little people toys, this man looked like a "Farmer" to Logan. We had a good laugh! Logan always makes entertaining dinner conversation!
