It was so windy outside at Logan's party that he didn't get a chance to blow out the candle so here is our redo on the actual date. We had plenty of cupcakes left to do multiple takes but it only took one. Logan has asked for a "cupcake" every day since. He also asks for "more presents?" We had him open a few a day so he was not overwhelmed and he is always so focused on each gift it allowed for more entertainment (peace and quiet for Mommy). Obviously this open a few a day strategy has lead him to believe that he now gets presents to open every day. He does not know how lucky he is!

Logan's 2nd Birthday Party
Logan is two! It was a beatiful day to celebrate Logan's second birthday in the backyard with all of his friends. We couldn't have asked for more! Logan had a great time playing and eating cupcakes with all of his pals. It was quite a day. He was such a good boy and so relaxed at the party. After his giant dose of red Elmo frosting and cupcake he found a comfy Broncos chair to rest in while he took in all the goings on.
Thank you to all of the friends for joining us to celebrate it was so much fun! Here are a few pictures from the big day. I know our family is anxious to see a few. We missed you!

Baby Gebhardt 34 weeks
It's hard to believe baby Gebhardt is now already at 34 weeks. She is growing fast and everything seems to be on track. She seems more active than Logan(kicking, jumping and who knows what)but I hear that is true of second babies. The time has been flying by this pregnancy and it is hard to believe that she will be here before we know it!
Brian got a few shots of my growing baby belly before we headed out to a friends birthday. I feel huge but people still seem surprised when I tell them I am at 34 weeks. Sometimes it is good to be tall; I can spread the baby weight out over a larger area!

Spring is Wonderful
We have been enjoying the fantastic spring weather. Here are a few assorted pictures of our fun. Logan has been wild about his early birthday gift of the swing set. We constantly hear "outside? OUTSIDE?" It's the perfect time of year to enjoy it. Brian and I managed to get some work done in the garden too. I've killed almost every plant I've owned, thus I am exceedingly proud of my large blooming irises and the other plants. So far our outdoor plants all seem to be doing surprisingly well under my care, it probably helps that we had a wet winter and things just grow well in Texas. :)

Happy Easter
Logan had quite a weekend with a very fun birthday party and lots of activities, so when he was awake from 3-4:45 Easter morning, we began to wonder what we were in for. He did great at church; it was a wonderful Easter service! With all of the weekend events, we waited until after naptime for the Easter Bunny to arrive with Logan's basket.

Fire Truck
Logan had a great time at his buddy Anderson's 2nd birthday party. They toured the fire truck before heading to the park to celebrate. Logan loved "driving" the truck and sitting in all the seats. It was amazing to see all the fun all the kids were having. It is hard to believe how fast they are growing up!

Hard at Work Making Easter Eggs
Logan colored some eggs today. I was a bit skeptical about how this would go, and we just about skipped it. So glad that we didn't! Logan loved throwing the eggs in to the colors and then asking "where de go?" He loves hiding things these days, so I should not have been surprised. When we finally pulled them out he said "WOW" with each newly colored egg. It was so much fun right up until he ripped the cover off the table, dumping the yellow all over the floor. Oh well...it was still fun and thank goodness for the easy to clean tile floor.
