Logan enjoyed a baseball game with his friend Claire. They loved the freedom of the grassy section and although Claire seemed a bit more interested in the older boys (8 yr olds) Logan was still happy to share a toy car with her. This is a pretty big move considering his current matchbox car obsession. It was windy but a great day to catch a game outside and considering both Abi (Claire's Mom) and I are both pregnant we happily preferred the wind to the heat of previous games.
We made it to the arboretum to meet up with some friends for storybook fun! Logan ran around with Abigail, Erin and Kate through the gardens, houses, and fountains. His favorite part seemed to be meeting Peter Rabbit who was greeting the kids at the gate. Logan seems to be just as comfortable with Peter as he was with the Easter Bunny. It is just Santa that he is not so sure about. He gave Peter lots of high fives, wanted to pet him, and would hardly leave his side so other kids to visit with Peter. He even talked about how "Peter (had a) coat on!" Poor Peter was hot but hopefully he knew that he made the day for Logan. Another amazing day at the park.
